Default TFC Tickets at 30% off from Travelzoo

Saw this posted on Travel Zoo. Good if you need a cheap seat to the games. I guess ticket sales are worse than we're led to believe.

    http://www.travelzoo.com/ca/entertainment/1002364/

Kick start the soccer season with savings of as much as 30% on tickets for Toronto FC.
The home team welcomes these competitors to BMO Field:

    • April 2 vs. Chivas USA
    • April 16 vs. D.C. United
    • May 4 vs. Edmonton FC

Seats available in the sale include:

    • Light Grey: $26 (reg. $37.50)
    • North End: $45 (reg. $$59.50)
    • Dark Grey: $52 (reg. $69.50)

Note: The percentage discount is based on regular price single tickets, plus applicable fees. The prices above include taxes and fees.
    Book by April 2.

The "discount" is mostly the elimination of the Ticketmaster fee.

    Still, good to know.

Eservus has discounted TFC tickets too - Light Grey starting at $30, and they list all games.

Also I know a few guys trying to unload tickets to games they cannot attend for face or below, and they are having a hard time.

Looks like it may not be the same at BMO this year unless the product on the field improves.

I've got a few buddies who have season tickets and they can't give away the games they can't go to, and they all know soccer guys.

The eservus is not a deal. I was looking less than an hour ago (before seeing this thread). Medium grey was listed at $42.50 (down from $49.50). Actual face value when I look at my tickets which are medium grey is $41.

I think the earliest games are the ones that will be hardest to sell. Toronto has literally fair-weather fans.

MLSE is making a mistake by putting tickets out to discounters.

They're competing with their own SSH base, who need to sell tickets, and rigth now can barely give them away.

yes indeed- true supporters don't give a shit about being cold or soaked.

That LA game a year or 2 ago when it pissed rain all game was fantastic, as was the foggy NY game.

It seems like BMO Field is going to be a whole lot emptier this year.. but I wouldn't be surprised if it got louder as the real supporters will be able to wiggle over to where they wanna be.

Hence why I did not renew! I can go to any game I want, and not end up with wasted tickets as its true, you can no longer give these away.

Depends on how many games you go to. I think my tickets in 111 came out to $380, so $20 a game. Being a season ticket holder gives you a pretty decent discount.
