Going to run out of time, which is deserved.
Don't deserve to get a tie out of this.
Long is such an honest cheat....
long yellow
Whatever. It is within striking distance and we'll have Osorio, Spicer, Richie and hopefully two new CBs.
Sadly 2-1 is flattering to us….leaves them with hope for a 1-0 win or a 2-1 win and extra time.
Embarrassing, just embarrassing.
Shameful performance. And the staff have to be looking at themselves as well.
The good news is, we avoided a blowout. Forge could've easily scored 4 more on us.
forge wins 2-1
seven straight losses...now going home to face the union who are rested and who will go all out to win and keep their season alive

When a 2-1 loss versus a CPL team still feels like a smash and grab, you know you're watching TFC.
Absolutely need the Whitecaps to smash whatever shit CPL team they are playing and TFC just skull fuck Hamilton. Listening to OneSoccer is doing my head in.

Oh, it was shameful as those 2 goals were easily stoppable while we gave up better chances they missed. And we continue to be a "game states" team relying upon a goal to change mindsets.
&
I don't know if the staff are going to look at themselves very much because they seem to have given up on anything beyond "stay alive" as possible with this current squad.
Gavran has given up two of the worst goals I’ve ever seen mere weeks apart. I don’t see how he can start again.
did the 10 minute postgame huddle happen on the field or was the weather too bad??
Yeh, there's been about 3-4 who we only see when we lose - I wonder sometimes what happened to PizzaYeti because he at least came in and was relatively upbeat when we were losing only by 1. Some of these guys...geez.
Like, check your hyperbole at the door people - we lost to a CPL team. We looked like crud. Our team has serious issues.
But saying Forge are a better roster then the rest of CPL comes across as hyperbole bad trolling - its just ignorant - look at the freaking CPL standings, for Pete's sake.
A year ago, I started the other thread, no pride will be returned until manning’s gone. #FIREMANNING

Of course it's nuts that Forge had so many clear-cut chances, incl. a couple shots bouncing off the post or crossbar.
But it's also bizarre that TFC frequently can't convert the easiest opportunities. We had a couple of open-goal or near-open-goal chances tonight; also in previous games. In addition to having no decent striker who can get into good spots and reliably convert, we've seen Insigne and others flub shots where it seemed easier to hit the net than to miss it. There's a massive problem with the mentality of the team.
Of course, most of the time we just dink around with the ball at the top of the penalty area. And other than Berna, anyone else trying to take long shots always skies it way over the net. What the hell are they doing in practices?
Didn't watch the game (watched the highlights) given all the other soccer I'm watching right now, but still TFC should have won given that Insigne and Berna were playing.
CPL is much better than USL, but the DPs should make a big difference in MLS teams.

Well my perspective on this has changed. Best TFC result since 2019? If I'd known what I know now I'd have run celebratory laps as the goals went in
I hate to use the cliche but that really was a perfect storm for him. Forge is coached by a guy he rejected for the job, has four of our former youth players starting for them including the goal scorer, whom we cut as a teenager, and losing to them over two legs would end any chance we have of winning anything this year.
It really was the kind of conglomeration of incompetence organizationally that will make a new president pay attention.
