Yeah but would we have closed down a street and had a marketing campaign built around him and his nationality? I think not and that's what Manning's TFC is all about.

They can't handle Owusu and right now can't deal with uptempo passing by Longstaff.

Oh you're not alone. Just no point in going on about the obvious & useless trash Herdman keeps trotting out there. Might as well just save the effort for the players getting paid big to make us elite but instead make us a joke.

Yeh, Berne had a right to be angry...these officials can't keep up with the pace.

With the great publicity of the CMNT this last month...

Get ready to learn Cyle Larin as a DP, buddy (when they could probably trade 750k GAM for Tani)

    Conway is a freaking idiot.

TFC gets a turnover, ball moves up the field quickly and we look to have a chance against Forge. Until the ball reaches Insigne, who slows down the play and kills the hope.

    This is just woeful.

We get them down their end, they pack the box, we can't break it down even with five minutes of continual possession.

At some point, it's not just the players. It's whoever's coaching this mess on the field.

We try to break down the box, can't get anywhere. Eventually, we cough it up and they get a breakaway.

    Rinse, repeat.

So when the Herdman experience fails surely that will end the reign of Manning right?

    Right?

Also, Herdman clearly doesn't rate JMR very much.

I think he's sparing Bernardeschi the embarrassment of being out there at the end.

The Guardian's 100 best annual lists (which are picked by coaches globally) picked him as one of the top 100 under 20 in the world. He went and trialled at Liverpool... and they gave him a nice pat on the head and sent him home.

We're so tactically inert and static, they can't even think to try stacking one side of the box and creating some isolation to GET an open look. It's like they're playing a friendly pass around outside the box.

We've been like this since 2007...its maddening that we can't get players who play in active moving attacks to play that way here.

I also think they have in their heads - "Just only be down by 1 with an away goal and we will be fine"
