I still think when Richie comes in, Oso moves back either to take Coello's spot or Longstaff moves back from his.
Coello has to be gone. Its a shame, he has skills… but he has spit the bit. It happens.
Herdman is delightfully transparent. One of the things he does is really commit to guys and really believes in their ability to meet challenges. But that is in part a national team dynamic. He is going to have to learn some ruthlessness here.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
In a perfect world, we lineup something like this for starting when healthy:
--------------------Owusu----------------
-------------Insigne---Longstaff (Osorio)------------
Richie - Longstaff (Osorio) - Flores - Berna
---------- Petretta - Long -- Gomis------------------
Then we actually have some decent off the bench options, Spicer, Etienne Jr, JMR, etc.
