One thing he mentioned, and he's done it a few times, was sometimes you have to hit the ball into "row z" - he specifically talked about attempting nutmegs in "our own quarter"

That is aimed right at Coello & Flores. Especially Coello on the 3rd goal (just watched it again on replay and the dread I had watching him from the stands attempt that stuff has become anger)

I'm sorry, but how high on your capabilities do you have to be to attempt a nutmeg from your own endline?!?!?!
Arrogant players last season, arrogant this year.

Coello is the worst for the "I can pull off anything" bullshit. But Flores has his moments. At least he's a great wrecker.

Petretta just looks bemused, like he can't believe he's getting paid so much to play football.

Coello needs some sort of wake up call.

Flores is a great destroyer in mid. Watching him live last night he wins a lot of battles in midfield. Ain't perfect but he just needs a better partner in mid. Coello ain't it.

I still think when Richie comes in, Oso moves back either to take Coello's spot or Longstaff moves back from his.

Coello has to be gone. Its a shame, he has skills… but he has spit the bit. It happens.

Herdman is delightfully transparent. One of the things he does is really commit to guys and really believes in their ability to meet challenges. But that is in part a national team dynamic. He is going to have to learn some ruthlessness here.

He for sure should not be starting but the problem is especially right now we don't have the depth.

Yeah that's a problem. Might need to get creative.

In a perfect world, we lineup something like this for starting when healthy:

    --------------------Owusu----------------
    -------------Insigne---Longstaff (Osorio)------------
Richie - Longstaff (Osorio) - Flores - Berna
    ---------- Petretta - Long -- Gomis------------------

Then we actually have some decent off the bench options, Spicer, Etienne Jr, JMR, etc.
