Every team but LAG would take him in a heartbeat.
Some of the thinking that goes on in here is barely above Youtube comments.

Hate to tell people this but the narrative is not as negative as it tends to be around this place.
Could be different with Bradley back. Having 2 target men is a good thing as long as the mid is smart enough to target properly. Without Bradley, it's pretty much up to Cheyrou (and some credit to Oso) for targeting the right guy. The rest of them have gotten used to targeting Seba, which has shown well, but now that Jozy is back they have to get used to him as an alternative.
A bit extra. I love that we have Herculez now as a depth striker. Time will tell but he may do very well as a sub striker and alleviate some pressure on Seba/Jozy.
Just getting tired of people slagging on a player who has a lot of marketability around the league.
Fact is most teams would take a player who is on a pace to score 12 goals this season - many of them would take that production out of a DP. The only qualifier is about 1/3 of MLS teams will never pay somebody 4 million a year.
This Altidore interview with Kristian Jack is worth reading.

I'm happy with Jozy. He has the talent to do well. He has taken some class finishes. We have not got maximum output from him yet, but this happens in football as players have ups/downs. For a player in a down spell, not 100% healthy and on a new team, I would consider 7 goals as good production.
Just remember that Jozy was the price for getting rid of Defoe -- or at least the face-saving measure required by the corporation.
I have noticed watching the games that Jozy has played in that he makes alot of good runs here and there but some of our midfield guys don't thread the pass to him and instead turn back or do something else. You can see Jozy throwing his hands up in the air sometimes. If the midfield could get on the same page with Jozy then he could have alot more production in the goal department. We know he can put away chances. They just need to create more chances for him like Vanney said recently. It took them some time to get used to finding Giovinco. Jozy has been away more so that still needs to happen. I am not worried and still like Altidore on our team at this point. Too early to give up on him in my opinion.
Jozy is good and other teams would use him as a DP, it's just that we are owned by ML$E and with the money we have, all three of our DP players should be at Giovinco quality
Fun Fact: Hercules Gomez used to play with Greg Vanney

I might suggest picking the bones of RSL in the offseason: that team is on course to be blown up pretty soon. Some quality parts in there for anyone who wants to do their homework.
Herc Gomez turned down a bigger money offer from Cosmos to go to TFC.

Rebuilding in MLS entails dumping your overpriced players, not your young value ones. I doubt they'll be selling Plata, Silva, Gil, etc. They'll be looking to offload guys like Beckerman, Olave, and Morales. We don't have the space to take on those guys. If RSL was willing to spend a bit of money, they could probably turn their team around pretty quickly by getting some solid quality DPs. Though they seem pretty set on their current path of signing Argentine players
