For some reason, the English FA is all up in arms about dissent during matches and is trying anything to crack down on it. I can see the sin bin working in participation leagues and kids. And it works really well in a sport like rugby where the refs are constantly communicating warnings to the players of what not to do & the rules involved are specific & the refs are respected fully.
Professional soccer? No thanks. Glad the league isn't doing it.
The "we get to see extra time" rule is going to be a HUGE change for fans while the 10 second sub rule is going to be something we just accept as normal within 3 seasons.
Blue card is crutch. I have no problem with officials brandishing way more yellows for dissent. Get it closer to the level of Rugby who've got it right.
