Does anyone know/understand the severity of Osorio’s hip injury? So far am unable to find any follow-up condition/status commentary. It was mentioned to me by another supporter that Osorio’s injury may be more serious; hopefully not. That the apparent City Panic reporting may not have been off/wrong, those injury durations were not apparent banner typos, more likely regurgitated Roger’s insider knowledge and that Laryea’s doctor/leading sports surgeon in LondonUK is also a hip specialist that may have been consulted on Osorio.
Hip injuries are never good for an athlete on the wrong side of 30. Hope it's not the start of something.
what do people think about ugbo?
not as a DP, but as an option on loan. v good number in championship on some pretty mediocre sides. usually translates well and pre-existing relationship with herdman
IIRC, free agent this summer.
If we are gonna throw out striker targets, I'm gonna throw out the name Harold Preciado of Santos Laguna. Been banging goals in this year's Clausura (4 in 6 games) and the previous Apertura (11 in 17). As a 29 year old turning 30, this is the kind of guy who I think could be easily lured to MLS for that big pay day. Might have to wait until after the Liga MX season ends though to allow Laguna to find a replacement.
Portland just signed Jonathan Rodriguez from America, 30 yr old, lots of playing time in Liga MX
So, I'd say pretty much most of Liga MX is reachable, for a big truckload of money
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Not 100% sure of his relationship with Herdman. He was supposedly grumpy about never seeing the pitch in Qatar. He had been promised something as part of committing to Canada. (So went the story on twitter somewhere afterwards.)
Has a younger championship player with potential ever come to MLS? Seems inconceivable, the possible EPL rewards they are giving up seem so close at hand…

Does anyone know what happened to the young defender Stefanovic. I think he was only 16 when he played a few games last year, and looked to be our best C back. I don't see him on the TFC 11 roster?
Osorio injury recovered faster than expected and he could play this weekend, per herdman

apparently they are looking/ scouting a honduran on the nat team any guess who?
Seemed to indicate the player had some MLS ties. I see a few guys on Transfermarkt who fit the description. None of them necessarily big names, but could be serviceable.
Bryan Rochez, a CF who played briefly for Orlando and Atlanta like 7 years ago.
Douglas Martinez, another forward who was on loan with RSL.
Michaell Chirinos, winger who was on loan with Vancouver.
David Ruiz, currently playing with Inter Miami. Doubt they would need to scout him.
Andy Najar who was in MLS forever, but plays RB. So, as a short term fix for Richie might be an option.
Kervin arriaga. Hasn't been starting for Minnesota.
