    I haven't seen enough to think we are getting out of the cellar but I hope I am wrong.

    I dunno, there have been some really positive signs in preseason. I don't know if we'll make the playoffs but I think we might get out of the cellar.

    We were in playoff range until basically May last season / early June before it flew off the rails.

    I feel they really need to get some points and confidence earlier rather then later though.

    I was just speaking of player movement compared to last year as my foundation for lack of optimism. I have a personal rule of thumb for completely ignoring preseason results due to all the variables with getting match fitness, lineup and formation tweaking by both teams, etc.

    I don't do it for reasons of realism; I just figure with this club, clinging to whatever hope exists is the only option sometimes.
