    For sure. Especially for media companies like Bell/Rogers. Since Rogers owns the Jays and broadcasts their games through their sportsnet channels, they can undervalue the TV rights. If Jays TV rights went on the open market, they'd cost a lot more than what Rogers is accounting for (Jays have one of the biggest TV audiences in MLB). Rogers can show just about any loss they want by undervaluing the Jays tv rights.
