Who was the Serbian international who was supposed to be our first DP signing in '07? anyone remember? it's been bugging me all day.
It wasn't Darko Kovacevic was it?
The Reds actually agreed to a loan for him and he never showed.

Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
I remember watching that season's opener at Joe's and how wild everyone went after the second goal (I think it was Defoe who scored) and thinking to myself...OMG wow...this is what winning is like...
That was also the match which the season opening broadcast was delayed...because of a curling match...only in Canada eh?
Totally remember being down at Joe's for that and waiting for it to come on. Not the first time something else on the air got in the way of TFC game, remember Sportsnet showing a champions league match on tape delay due to of all thing a random baseball game going into extra inning. Remember when the TFC season opener vs Columbus one year was going to be on tape delay so Parkie hooked up a computer to the AV system at Joe's so it could be streamed live. Oh the things we do.

The one memory that makes me laugh time and time again is Bright Dike's 25 yard strike against SKC where his boot ended up in the net and the ball landed in St. Louis lol
Also that time Danny Dichio hoisted the corner flag in the pouring rain

O, Maple Leaf around the world, You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound by ties we cannot sever,
Bright flag revered on every ground, The Maple Leaf forever
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Oh man, if only I knew how to post pics lololol
This team (and this group!!) has been such an integral part of one third of my life. And so much has happened in those ten years, that I can't imagine my life without TFC.

Alan Frew's gift of "My Town" - TFC version
Also liked the U-Sector year end reviews with the Boom de yah da version.
Saying "opa!" after a Kenny Stamatopolous goal kick.
or Danny's goal against New England in added time to earn a point in the final game of the first season. You can see such pure joy in 112 and a lot familiar faces !!

Anyone have any pics of our first gathering to watch game 1 vs Chivas....If i can recall it was at the elephant and castle i think?
I would parse through this thread but my friend just told me Luis Figo has spotted in Yorkville and I have strapped on my rollerblades to confirm.
Here's to hoping those jokes haven't been taken 6x over already.
